On 31 October 2025, Guesh Solomon Teklu is presenting on "Text and Image in Devotion: A Focus on the First-Gondarine-Style Illuminated Manuscripts of the Ethiopian Miracles of Mary" at the 51st Annual Byzantine Studies Conference in Detroit (MI).

His participation has been enabled by the Dumbarton Oaks travel grant.
